1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing doraeconstruction.com (the “Website”) or availing services from Dora Construction (“Company,” “we,” “us”), you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree, refrain from using the Website or services.
2. Services Overview
We provide construction, renovation, labor contracting, and related services (“Services”). Project specifics (cost, timeline, materials) will be outlined in a separate written contract post-consultation.
3. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate project details (site address, design requirements, etc.).
- Obtain necessary permits/permissions from local authorities.
- Ensure safe access to the construction site for our team.
4. Payments & Pricing
4.1 Quotation & Validity
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be revised due to fluctuations in material/labor costs.
- For long-term projects (>6 months), phase-wise quotations will be provided with separate pricing for each stage.
4.2 Payment Schedule
Advance Payment:
- 10-30% advance payment (based on project scope) is required to initiate work.
- Material procurement and labor mobilization will begin only after advance payment clearance.
Milestone Payments:
- 40-50% payment upon completion of key project phases (e.g., foundation, structure, plumbing).
- Invoices will be issued for each milestone.
Final Payment:
- Remaining 20-30% to be paid after project completion and client satisfaction.
- Warranty/maintenance documents will be released only after full payment.
4.3 Payment Methods
- Online: UPI, Bank Transfer, Google Pay/PhonePe.
- Offline: Cheque/Cash (for amounts >₹50,000, bank transactions are mandatory as per RBI guidelines).
4.4 Late Payments & Penalties
- Grace period: 7 days from invoice due date.
- Late fee: 1.5% monthly interest thereafter (as per RBI norms).
- Projects may be put on hold/canceled if payments are delayed beyond 30 days.
4.5 Refund Policy
Advance Payment Refund:
- 90% refund (minus 10% processing fee) if canceled before work begins.
- No refunds after project commencement.
4.6 Additional Costs
- Design changes: Client bears all additional costs.
- Statutory charges: GST, municipal permits, etc., will be billed separately.
5. Project Delays & Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions, natural disasters.
- Client-side changes (design, material preferences).
- Government regulations or labor strikes.
6. Liability & Warranties
- No Workmanship Guarantee: Dora Construction provides no explicit warranties or guarantees on workmanship post-project completion. Clients are advised to conduct thorough inspections and raise any concerns before making final payments.
- Pre-Existing Issues: We are not liable for any structural or material defects that existed prior to our work.
- Clients must insure the property during the project.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Client cancellations: Advance payment may be forfeited based on work commenced.
- Company cancellations: Full refund if we withdraw without cause.
8. Website Use
- Content (images, designs) is proprietary; unauthorized reuse is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to modify Website information without notice.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes will be resolved through negotiation or Punjab & Harayana High Court.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
